- Open the battery compartment cover on the camcorder.
- Insert the two provided D batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2. SD Card Installation and Formatting
The camcorder supports SD cards (not included). A Class 10 or higher SD card up to 32GB is recommended for optimal performance.
- Locate the SD card slot on the side of the camcorder.
- Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- To format the SD card (recommended for first use or if experiencing issues):

The camcorder features infrared night vision for recording in low-light or no-light conditions. Activate this feature through the camera's menu settings. The image will appear in black and white.
