The HD3300 Plus+ supports various diagnostic protocols and connector types. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is in the 'ON' position (engine off) before connecting.
- Locate the diagnostic port in your heavy-duty truck. This is typically found near the driver's footwell or under the dashboard.
- Select the appropriate adapter cable (CAT-9 Pin, DIESEL 6/9 Pin, or OBD 16 Pin) based on your vehicle's requirements.
- Connect the adapter cable to the scanner and then to the vehicle's diagnostic port.
- The scanner will automatically establish communication with the vehicle.

4.3 Reading and Clearing Fault Codes

5. DPF Regeneration Functions
The HD3300 Plus+ offers professional DPF regeneration capabilities to maintain engine performance and emission control efficiency. This includes DPF reset, forced regeneration, DPR status monitoring, and DPD regeneration.
- From the main menu, select 'DPF'.
- Choose the specific DPF function you wish to perform (e.g., Forced Regen, DPF Reset).
- Follow the on-screen instructions carefully. Ensure the vehicle is in a safe, well-ventilated area and meets all conditions for regeneration.

6. Oil Light Reset Function
The scanner supports OEM-level oil reset for ISUZU, FUSO, and HINO vehicles, allowing you to reset the Oil Life Reminder after an oil change.
- From the main menu, select 'Service Reset'.
- Choose 'Oil Reset' and select the appropriate vehicle make.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the oil light reset.
